Embajada en Surinam

Argentina assumed the presidency of the G20 on December 1, but the majority of the action will be concentrated in 2018: there will be more than 45 meetings in 11 cities throughout the country. For these meetings, more than 20,000 people will arrive in Argentina, mostly G20 government officials, international organizations, and journalists.

The G20 meetings will deal with issues related to agriculture, the digital economy, education, employment, energy, finance, trade, and investment, among others. The three priorities of the Argentine presidency -the future of work, infrastructure for development, and a sustainable food future- will cross the entire G20 agenda. Other cross-cutting issues will also be addressed, such as equality of opportunities between women and men
